whenever some famous person gets a bit of *ahem* ...exposure...there are critics no matter what...but they only EVER get people rushing to their defense if they're female?

I think I'm the only person on Buzznet who doesn't have a problem with Pete Wentz's 'n00dz'. Don't get me wrong, not my taste, I think the pictures were tacky, and I'll even admit I've had a chuckle at his expense over it. I still find humor in the situation, but come on. He was legal when they were taken,  he probably knew they'd get out (and if he didn't, he certainly should've), and he did it anyway. I highly doubt he's a whore (a word I see thrown around whenever his name comes up regarding the matter). He might be a slut, I don't know since I don't pay much attention to him, but if he is, it's not because of the photos.

And before someone thinks I only care about the guys, here's my two cents on Miley: I don't like the picture, I'm not interested in seeing 15 year olds' attempts at sexy poses, but ignoring that and assuming it's no longer being waved in my face every 5 minutes, it's not that bad (like others have noted, most people, even really little kids, would wear far less on a public beach and nobody would bat an eye), and I don't think badly of her for it, I just hope she thought it through beforehand. I did think it was questionable where a certain drama-infested poll accused her of "trying to impress the boys". We don't know that. Maybe she was feeling proud of her figure. Maybe she was just extremely bored. Maybe (and perhaps most likely) she or her publicists thought she needed more publicity.

Someone in thrifthorror found this mousepad at a Tuesday Morning a while back. I'm going to try looking at the local one...long shot, but I really want it! They're magical! One look at their psychotic grins, and you'll instantly have one to match!

I just wish I didn't know about some of the things people say. Things that sit and rot in the back of my mind like refrigerator mysteries.

...on the 9th, comes my birthday. Technically, I'd be 22, but I'm feeling too garish for that so instead...I'll be "16"! And of course I can't pass for 16, so that just makes it all the tackier. ♥ What do you guys think, is it tasteless enough?? Or how about 18, so I'm still legal? ♥

Man, I really didn't want to spend another birthday here.
